More often than not, this restaurant is pretty good but during busy times? I came during stampede with two friends at midnight. We got seated, we got our food, but the waitress made weird faces while my friend was ordering and seemed to "look down" at another friend of mine who ... only ordered a drink. There might be a race issue too as we're fairly mixed. Nothing special happened besides a large number of bugs inside the restaurant, and I chose not to tip due to these actions and how rushed everything was. The missus at the front - reddish dyed hair, probably in her 60s if I were to guess - seemed agitated I didn't tip. My friend didn't tip her the "full" 10% and basically forced me and my friend to do so which was astounding given a) tips are if and ONLY if I wish to give them, and b) you have a line-up going down the stairs! Bigger priorities, ma'am. At one point, she wanted to call me up but I just left: bill is paid, our business is done. My friend and I went to this restaurant today to enjoy some food after the greasy snacks in Stampede. The food was good and quick however there is simply no service at all. We, a party of 6 was extremely thirsty so we wanted cold water instead of hot tea. ... We asked to have cold water even before order but they didn’t bring any. We sympathized for them since it was stampede week and the restaurant was extremely busy. Therefore, after we ordered food, we reminded them but they didn’t bring any after that. We reminded multiple staffs multiple times to bring us water but none of them did. At the end, we have to leave and couldn’t even enjoy our food because of thirst. So we asked for the bill and decided to give no tip. Then the woman said we had to pay at least 10% tip. Only when I tipped and complained that we asked for water but there was none, she said “oh I will give you some now”. Well it’s a bit too late for that. Portions are definitely bigger than other dim sum places, with more reasonable pricing. They did some recent renovations to create a more chic look inside. They are accommodating to young families and bigger groups.

The dim sums with shrimps seemed fresh. I had bad shrimp wraps in other restaurants before. The portions were nice. The food was tasty. The restaurant was clean. Service was so so. I wish servers would come to ensure to refill your drinks and clean the empty dishes.

My family's go-to place for an authentic Chinese dish experience! Always tasty and freshly cooked items. Staff can appear to be a bit rude, but no, they are not. They are actually nice.
