T.Pot China Bistro - Calgary, Alberta

We visited T.Pot Chinese Restaurant for dim sum on a Tuesday afternoon around 11 AM, and it was extremely busy, which was quite surprising. We had to sit in the area to the right of the entrance, which is mainly for the Hong Kong Café, as the main dining room ... was full. The ordering process was through a sheet of paper, which seems to be the new modern style. We were a group of three and ordered several portions, which was more than enough—we even had leftovers. Coming from Toronto, I had high expectations for dim sum, and this restaurant exceeded them. The taste was great, and the value for money was excellent. We ordered the usual items like har gow, siu mai, rice noodle rolls, and barbeque pork buns. Everything was delicious. I would particularly recommend the sesame balls—they were massive, crispy, and absolutely delicious. Another standout was the stuffed jalapeño peppers; they were super spicy but incredibly tasty. The restaurant itself is very modern and clean. I highly recommend T.Pot to anyone looking for good dim sum in Calgary. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in Calgary again. Read more

The food is pretty good, one of the better dim sum places in the NW. But the service is kinda meh, almost got elbowed in the face 4 times by a waitress.

Always busy, does not matter weekend or weekday. Only mango pudding is not my taste, others all good!

Just had a lovely family wedding dinner here. The 12 course wedding dinner was unbelievable and well put together. The one dish that stand out was the unique lobster dish in some sort of white scrambled egg and chunks of lobster meat mixed in. That was absolutely delicious! One of ... the best chinese wedding dinner I had in a long time. Service quick and our dishes came out fast. They replaced the dirty dishes after a few of the meals which I find pretty good. If you come here get a table reservation as the place gets packed, especially on Saturdays and Sundays. The food is delicious and doesn't take long to come even during busy time. Staff will always come around to make sure your tea and water is full and if you have more orders ... to be added. The restaurant is clean and in a convenient location just across a T&T which makes it nice of you want to get something for home after. This place is nice for families and celebrate special occasions. Read more
