The food looks and tastes 1-2 days old and awful. I was told the fountain drink is just one drink and cannot be refilled. The selection was not as advertised. Not that you expect much from airport food but I couldn't even finish my meal. The ginger beef was very salty, sesame chicken bland and the rice tasted burnt. It looked and smelled delicious so I was very disappointed after getting it.
Ordered sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli with rice. I swear I ate fried toilet paper balls with sweet sour sauce. Beef and rice weren't bad. It is overpriced, sadly. Lady who was working today was absolutely miserable.
I echo all of the other reviews that say this is one of the worst Chinese restaurants they have ever tasted. Gloppy and tasteless. Not that anyone checks Google reviews when you have a short layover and you really don’t have very many choices, other than Subway or Sbarro pizza, ... but how can Calgary airport look itself in the mirror every morning with eateries like this for hungry guests? And it’s not just this restaurant. Many of the other restaurants in the airport are overpriced and/or not good. Calgary Airport, you are a disappointment and don’t seem to care. Why, why, Calgary? Food was tasteless, cold and expensive. We paid $34 for two orders of 2 items and small drink. One had broccoli and beef, we got one piece of beef. Rice was hot as it had just been brought out but was very bland. The other order was noodles and sweet ... and sour. Both were cold and the noodles were also very bland with little taste. The lady told us they were fresh. If it was fresh, it shouldn’t have been cold. I asked if I could get a refill, the answer was no. The small pop was $3.39.
