Disgusting food... the Almond Chicken wasn't even freshly made, obviously frozen and reheated, the few almond bits were rancid. And the ginger beef was disgusting. Expensive meal to throw directly into the garbage.

Don't bother. First time I ever ordered any food from this place. I thought I'd treat myself as I live within walking distance. I ordered one dish, beef and broccoli, (my fave), and the elderly lady taking my order puts the total in the debit for payment, a little over ... $12. My tap doesn't seem to be working and I ask is it working on their machine? She quickly begins the ascent into getting 'a tip'. At first I say 'No- I picked up the food', I told her 'nobody tips me'. 'Nooooo tip'? she says again, I say 'No' and then, 'Noooo tip????, "ok', I said, $2 bucks, "Only 2 dollars'!!, she quirks...well that's when I kinda told her what I think about that. "I'm picking up this food, no delivery, paying for it, why should I give you a tip too'? What for?" I tell her it's my first time there I am going to try the food and go wait outside for my order, saying, "I hope the food's good'. Getting home, the food isn't good, not by a long shot. First, Ms. 'NOooooooo TIP!!? "only $2"!!!? didn't put any soya in the bag, secondly the beef was a chewy, hard and tough jaw work out and the most sparce part of the dish called - beef and broccoli, not 'where's the beef' IN the broccoli', was - The Beef. Mostly the dish consisted of a whole bunch of haphazardly cut white onions, a few small carrots, under cook broccoli and was one of those places I'll never go back to. It was probably $2 worth a veggies and a old tough cheap chunk of beef/shoe leather cut into toddler mouth size and playing hide and seek under all those weird shaped onions. The little waiting room inside is in dire need of a cleaning and fresh paint job with little to be desired. For the tip demander at the service window, her service skills need a bit of work. Tips are due to good service good food and a desire to go back because of that. To be a service person begging a customer for tips and not liking the amount is in keeping with your food quality, sad. First time for me and the last. Here's a tip don't eat there, there's way better Chinese food in the game of life's choices. Now I gotta go floss that beef out of my molars. The only good thing to add a positive spin on this dine and don't do it again experience, is that the 1 fortune cookie said. "your sense a humor will soon cheer up a friend". Hope your happy, I'm still hungry and $14 bucks poorer while I should have saved that $2 bucks for more floss and am considering bringing the rest of the food back- you guessed it, - To get my tip back. I couldn't even eat this food. I wasted 40 dollars and had to throw it all away. It was tasteless. The beef was grey. The shrimp was hard as a rock. Don't even consider it. Won't do that again. It rates worse than a zero.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Having just moved to Bowness we didn’t know which Chinese food restaurant to order from. Biggest mistake ordering from Kin’s, Chicken fried rice smelled off and tasted even worse, the chicken chop suey was sour and the Egg Foo Young was slimey ... as the egg was not cooked through. Nothing was fresh. We thought maybe the Egg Rolls would be good only to find aluminum foil in one. Worth the drive! We live outside the delivery area and will drive all the way here to pick up our dinner. Food is delicious, portions are generous, and the price is unbeatable! Oh and the owners (they’re the cooks too) are absolutely delightful. Best be on time to ... pick it up though, they don’t like your food to get cold, so you can enjoy it at its best - taking absolute pride in their cooking and service. Read more
