Ordered online through skip and I found hairs in both of my dishes…. Portion sizes okay. But still pricey. Chow mein was horribly boring. 0 flavour,

I ordered a dinner for 6 on door dash from Golden Moon and everything was great. Most containers were almost overflowing in the best way. The food was fresh and good quality. I was craving Chinese food for quite a long time but the last couple tries at different restaurants ... in this city were a disappointment, so it had been a while, thankfully that was not the case at this restaurant! Love the Golden Moon, family run restaurant has been creating amazing Chinese food since they opened a few years back. Since opening they have always been busy because of their amazing customer service, fast food preparation and delicious flavours. Do yourself a favour and order from Golden Moon when in ... the downtown or 14st SW area. It is certainly worth experience. Read more

I got the Dinner for 1 with included 1 veggie spring roll, mixed veggies, chicken friend rice and a choice of entree. I chose the Chicken Chow Mien and let me tell you - it was absolutely FANTASTIC! You would think an overabundance of Chinese food restaurants would lead to a spike in quality due to competition, but apparently this restaurant isn't concerned with that. The prices are great for the portion sizes, but the food is flavorless and unimaginative. Sliced BBQ Pork had huge chunks of fat ... in it and no hoisin from what I could taste. The Chicken in Curry Sauce was better, but not by much - sauce was watery and bitter, due to the lack of salt combating the curry. At least the veggies tasted freshly made. The "Special" Fried Rice was not special at all - overcooked shrimp and pork chunks hard as nails. I'll pass on this place and try one of the other 7000 Chinese restaurants in this city. Read more
