I don't understand why this dish exists at the first place, i ordered a salt and pepper chicken knees, but in their chinese menu call 掌中宝(Chicken cartilage). That are two different things.They just deep fire the chicken bones. It was inedible. See pictures below. Very disappointed.

As authentic as you can get in Calgary. Food quality stayed high over the years in Calgary and the service is amazing. If you are craving for Chinese food, no matter you are new to it or you are homesick, this is the place to go to.

It is a typical Chinese restaurant where food taste is paramount and service and atmosphere are secondary, hence my review scores. Having said that, if you are craving for a traditional late night snack Hong Kong style, this is my go-to place. You cannot go wrong with traditionally style congee, ... paired with deep fried tofu and some black bean sauce clams. The food are as Hong Kong style late night snack as you can find here and in Hong Kong. I will definitely return again after a late night movie. Parking is a huge concern here as the parking lot is really tiny for such a popular restaurant. Yes, it is very likely you cannot find a parking spot at 11:00PM!
