Lots of options to choose from for shaved ice. Great for sharing with friends. The kids love coming here for desert it’s located across from peters drive inn with ample parking. My only thing with this place is 3 of the 7 times I’ve been here the ice machine is ... broken. So I always have to call ahead to make sure the shaved ice is available, they probably think I’m weird for asking. Nice and clean! Food is tasty, but takes a bit for them to come out, their free WiFi sure helps with the wait times though. The desserts are a definite must try! Their shaved ice comea in a mound, topped with different toppings, as it is made from real milk, ... each bite gives a creamy sensation. And bubble waffles come out still nice and warm! Topped with 2 scoops of ice cream and sauce, each bubble has a slight crunch and is soft on the inside! Would definitely recommend the Oreo one for all the chocolate lovers!! I would rate the place 3.5 stars as it wasn't all bad. Service is slow as the other reviewers said. I am not sure if it's because they have less staffs or if it's the kitchen's fault. It was not busy when we came so we did not see why ... the service was slow. Our server was nice though. For food, their spicy chicken with cheese (sorry cannot remember the exact name) were good. The broth of the ramen is surprisingly good. We had low expectation of the ramen but we were shook it was not bad. The okonomiyaki, burger and wings doesn't have much flavor or kick. The okonomiyaki is mostly cabbage which is a no no especially if you ordered a seafood one. Waffle bubble is not bad but could bw improve. I have yet to try the bingsu. Read more

When it first opened, I wasn’t a big fan. Since then, Cafe 16 made such a big stride in terms of their food and dessert menu. Their shaved ice is very large for its price, and tastes great! I enjoyed the curry and any other rice combo (I am pretty ... sure I had everything already in the entrees of the menu) and my favourites would be the chicken cutlet rice and katsu curry! The sweet silken tofu is only $4 but you get an entire BUCKET of tofu freshly made in house that dessert is worth paying for double the price! Frequent customer here and would always go back for more! Since the menu adjustment, I stopped going to bubble-mania mainly due to its overcrowded people with huge amount of noise. In Cafe 16, you get a much quieter atmosphere which is more suited to have nice conversations with your friends without having them to scream, great interior! Read more

Ordered the lunch special. The presentation of the food was good. Things placed very visually appealing. Today's food was ok. Mom told me that the rice she ordered tasted more like soy sauce rice. Soup a bit salty but they said that was to compensate for the taste of ... milk tea. I thought it was pretty good for $9.50. Mom would like some Chinese characters on the menu as the restaurant was advertised on the Chinese radio, so the older generation can come order too. Mom says this place would be perfect for the younger generation, as they are the target consumer. Order rice with milk tea and it is a good combo. The wings are okay. Food came quickly. Restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is clean. They have plugs for charging your phone which is nice. Mom gives it 2/5. Cause of the food I give it a solid three cause of the food.
