This restaurant is one of the best casual dining places in Calgary! I love the variety of food, but my favourite dishes are the fusion poutines - likely the best poutines in town, and definitely the most unique. This place is such a great place to eat. The portions are great size and we'll priced. Ever since my wife and I found this place, we visit at least once a month with our friends and family. It's hard to try anything beside the hakka style and butter ... chicken poutine. Today I decided to try something different, and I really enjoyed their haka dry fry fish, it was so good. 5/6 things I ordered they had run out of by 2pm. Stirfry is very bland, and service is pretty much nonexistent. This restaurant doesn't know what it's trying to be. Is it Hakka, is it an American Diner? An Indian restaurant? It's trying to be them all but does neither ... very well. There's no ambiance either, 4 TVs all of them muted, and no music. The place is completely silent minus the waitresses insanely loud laughter coming from the kitchen. Update: went again to give this place another shot. The 6 of us were the only people in the restaurant. It took them 45 minutes to serve us even though we ordered almost immediately. I will never be coming back here again. Read more
