Had an amazing experience at this diner. Large sizes or meals. Quick service. Our waiter Pavlo was super efficient, friendly and with great attitude. When coming to Calgary next time definitely coming in again here.

From our phone call to book a table for 9 people on a Sunday morning, to our text 20min earlier then expected that our table was ready, to the jovial atmosphere among all the servers, one even offered to take a pic of our table for us. Our server Avery T ... was amazing and accommodating for food allergies and splitting the bill. These people really enjoy their jobs and it shows! This was not a great experience. We are usually fans of Reds diner but were quite disappointed with the food/ service at this location. I ordered the Brie/ bacon jam burger and requested it be not over cooked and crunchy so that the meat would be moist. It arrived dry ... and charred. I understand that health Canada states that undercooked meat can be harmful. I wasn’t asking for raw or even undercooked just not dried out. I received a burnt tasteless burger. Not once did anyone ask how the meal was. We had 4 different servers refill coffee and water so consistency was an issue with service as well. Hard to build rapport if there are different servers looking after a table. My husband ordered the chorizo hash and mentioned that the potatoes only had flavour after he put hot sauce on them. *Food* 58th Avenue Benny (9/10): Super delicious! It is juicy and the goes very well with the BBQ hollandaise sauce and the crispy fried onions. The potatoes are really good too. * It'd be better if they'd be more generous with the crispy onion. Buttermilk Buckwheat Pancakes (8.5/10): Really fulfilling plate, we asked ... for Nutella spread on the side and they generously provided that for free. The maple syrup is so good with the pancakes. *Service* The staff is amazing, everyone is busy going around, but with a smile on their face, which is noticeable. Loved the place. *Atmosphere* A very calm neighborhood in Calgary, the place is super nice with lots of windows; it is decorated, and has a closed patio which is amazing if you love the sun. Read more
