Jubilations Dinner Theatre - Calgary, Alberta

Really enjoyed spending time. Great show, and I was surprised by how professionally the actors played and especially sang. The food was good enough; I only didn't like the dessert, but I'm not a cake fan. Will definitely go again.

Started with Rachel's green salad which had lots of feta cheese, then had the Alberta Prime Rib for main course (meat was a tad bit disappointing, but mashed potatoes were amazing) while enjoying the Friends themed musical acts that took place in intervals between the meals. The servers roleplayed as different ... characters- ours was a bubbly guy with his personal concierge that served us drinks, tea/coffee & brought us all our food. They were amazing to interact with, especially seeing them play their characters! We concluded our meal with 2 choices for desserts- a strawberry shortcake or a chocolate cake. What a great night out! Buy the combo deal from Costco and this is well worth the money. ($110 for 2 tickets) The calibre of the singing and acting (even dancing) was INCREDIBLE! The food was quite plain and simple, but the main was really tasty (get the prime rib, the ... reviews are accurate). The seating is done in a way where there aren’t any bad seats really, as the actors move through the audience during songs and even interact with people which was fun! Side note: The servers do “act” in character the entire time which depending on your personality can be off putting or entertaining. Extra side note: There is a piano bar “Aussie Rules” literally right next door which is a great way to end the evening after a show. Read more

This was our first time at Jubilations, and can’t believe we haven’t been to this gem of an entertainment venue in our own backyard until now. We’ve previously only gone to pricey Vegas shows that didn’t have nearly the entertainment and culinary value of this place. Went to Journey to the ... 80’s. The singing range of the male lead was crazy - could seriously have been the replacement for Steve Perry. The 2 females had ridiculous vocals, too. I thought this might have been all lip synced, but the manager came out at the end and said it was all authentic! The food was outstanding - the prime rib was the thickest cut I’ve seen. The vegan and gluten free desert menu was plentiful - try the vegan chocolate cake! I loved the way the staff and actors mingled with the audience during intermissions. I went to Jubilation for the first time to see their Beach Boy show. Which is one of my favourite bands!! The show was fabulous, very impressed with the variety of songs. The actors had incredible voices, I was so surprised. The food was exceptional, I would highly recommend their ... prime rib if you have a chance to try it; One of the best meals I have had. Their portions were generous, and our waiter Mike was fun and witty, thank you for the laughs. I would highly recommend Jubilations to anyone who wants a fun night out! Read more
