Extreme Bean Eatery - Calgary, Alberta

I have been going to this cafe for years. The food is good and ample portions are served. My only complaint is that some of the furniture is very old, dirty and dusty. The last time I was there, I sat facing some disgusting stools and a dusty fake ... plant. Looking at that ruined my appetite. The washrooms need a refresh and better lighting. I have noticed fewer people have been going there, even though the parking lot is finished. I wonder if others have similar thoughts. The hashbrowns were average at best and the omelette was meh. The food also took forever to come out and it wasn't until we complained that it did. Very average overall

This place is perfectly located beside Edworthy park and a small gasoline station. I personally love their Singaporean noodles and other pastries. You will mostly find locals here having coffee ( they have a wide range of coffee flavored choices) and hanging out. A perfect stop after a nice ... walk or bike ride. The food first of is delicious. It's home made and they totally jam the love in there. The staff are all super friendly and happy to be here which makes it a great experience. Then there's the portion sizes. I'm not a small man and usually when I order a ... soup and sandwich I'm left hungry. Well not here. I barely finished! I highly recommend coming here if your hungry and looking for good home style food. Not the cheapest lunch but worth every penny. Read more

Great location and so cozy place. Loved the booth, firepit, the wooden parts. Also there is a great menu, I just had a mocaccino but everything else seemed really good. Good staff, songs on the background - right volume to enjoy it but not to disturb you if you want ... to talk, read, work etc. And they are open later then most locations I have found in town!
