Waves Coffee House - Calgary, Alberta

My recent visit to this Waves Coffee Shop left me with conflicting feelings. While the coffee and food were delightful, the service fell short of expectations.

Nothing is more refreshing than a midday coffee but this place serves amazing coffee with awesome customer service! I was craving coffee that’s when I found this place. Nice & spacious place. Unfortunately, the business has started to show signs of neglection. The owner is not available on day to day basis. There is a bunch of new young hires. As a result the place started to get dirty. The washroom are not cleaned regularly anymore. The floor ... is not cleaned. It used to be in a much better conditions before. Read more

Waves cafe in Sprinborough is an ok strip mall type of café. Funcional without being particularly welcoming or cozy due to a straighforward layout and décor. While the staff is friendly, the coffee is ok but it arrived without additional decorative touches such as latte art. Food selection seemed limited, ... but the space is ok. On the whole...its ok. Stopped in for a coffee and bagel. The latte was okay and the bagel was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful and my order was processed quickly. A nice neighbourhood coffee shop, clean and well-maintained.
