We visited Made by Marcus on 17th Ave. in Calgary on a Sunday night around 8 or 9 PM. It was really busy, with a lineup stretching outdoors, but the wait was worth it. I was thoroughly impressed with the variety of flavors at this ice cream shop. The three of ... us each ordered something different. I had the lava cake chocolate ice cream, which was amazing. I got it on a waffle cone with a chocolate dip, and the dip really made it for me. I wish more places offered this option. My cousin tried the pineapple cake ice cream, which had sprinkles of cake and a flame-burnt marshmallow on a stick—it was super indulgent. My fiancé had the s’mores ice cream, and it was also delicious. I highly recommend this ice cream shop to anyone in the area. It’s definitely a fun experience with unique flavors. If I could make a suggestion, I’d love to see an option where ice cream is sandwiched between cookies or waffles—I think that would be a huge hit. Loved the ice cream, the place and the service. Went there while visiting Calgary and the place was suggested as a must go by friends. They do have a few regular flavour and some seasonal items. We tried a few and went for the Lemon Curd Blueberry, Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk ... as well as the Espresso Toffee. We were truly amazed by the taste and would definitely recommend!! Read more

It was one of the best ice creams I have ever eaten. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much. The service was also very good. Although there was a long queue, we did not wait long. We paid 27 dollars for three people, with two scoops of ice cream ... each with chocolate sauce on top. Read more

Always try to come back to Made by Marcus whenever we're in town for a visit. They let you sample flavours before deciding. 18 flavours available (signature, seasonal and non-dairy) along with sundaes, ice cream bars ($5.00) and ice cream cakes ($40.00). - Double scoop ($8.00) - vegan chocolate avocado torte and ... malted mini egg. I love the cookies & cream and strawberry flavors; they perfectly matched their names. The lemon curd blueberry was okay. I saw many people recommend the sea salt goat milk caramel, so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, I personally didn't enjoy it as much.
