BATHROOM REVIEW Location: 4 Cleanliness: 8 Security: 7 Ease of use: 9 Decoration: 8 7.2/10 LOCATION - 4 - The bathrooms themselves are located right by where all the jazz action is happening, so the music offers a very nice ambience. The bathroom hallway is a real chode though, the jazz audience is therefore also an audience ... to your entering and exiting the bathrooms, tough crowd. CLEANLINESS - 8 - The trash can was overflowing a bit, so paper towels were on the floor beside it. Some minor graffiti on the bathroom mirror. Apart from those small janitorial flaws, pretty clean environment. SECURITY - 7 - The chode hallway with the jazz audience being right outside the door is a bit unnerving, but the bathroom door has a deadlock on it, and the toilet is around a corner (and in the dark, for some reason). EASE OF USE - 9 - A wonderful experience. Easy bathroom to navigate. Options for soap dispensing via automatic sensor or manual delivery. Manual controls for everything else, and a nice paper towel roll. I feel clean in this bathroom, and can do everything I need to do with such ease. The only flaw is that the bin for the towels is a little out of the way, but still not too hard to find. DECORATION - 8 - Love the walls, I like the lighting, and love the music. Plants are present as well, bonus points for that nature feel that we all innately desire. A little dark above the toilet itself, and the environment still could feel jazzier, but overall well done on the decor side. Read more

I can tolerate a lot, but finding hair in my food is unacceptable. I just bought this pastry and was horrified to find a blonde hair inside. I didn't want to believe it was real until I pulled it out and confirmed it. To make matters worse, I waited several minutes ... for someone to take my order while two staff members, not busy with any tasks, stood right in front of me and did nothing. This place is INCREDIBLE! I stopped in for a glass of wine while I was waiting for my wife at the dentist. The atmosphere was so nice and the menu looked great so we just had to go back for lunch. The steak sandwich was as perfect and packed with ... flavor, the mussels were to die for. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and crisp. Definitely exceeded expectations! Such a nice place to go with people who you want to socialize with. Great music and cakes! Try the cheesecake there. We also had baklava and hazelnut cream and they were tasty but not as good as the cheesecake. Update: We went there again. The tea and coconut cheese cake is ... the best. This is one of the best places I went to in Calgary. The food is mind blowingly delicious! They have live music often and comedy shows. Really good vibe. Owner is so nice and all the waitresses and workers are amazing too. But let's get back to the food, the ... burger, mussels and steak are unreal!!! Everything is made from scratch and the flavours are so well balanced. On top of that, best coffee in Calgary! They do fancy latte art and use the best beans. They know what they're doing here!
