last few times gone to this Wendy's the burgers are flattened and dried out, not the same quality as other Wendy's restaurants

Got the chicken wrap duo, both wraps weren't even the size of my fist, have never been to Wendy's before so when they asked medium or large for the combo I said medium to avoid an upcharge. Then they say my total is $2 over what's posted on the board, ... when I got up to the window they said they couldn't change it which is a really scummy practice. Fire this Employee. Incredibly rude Service, very self entitled & condescending female red haired employee, photo included.. Need a managent overhaul here. Upon walking into this Wendy’s at 5:30 PM on a Sunday, I needed to use the bathroom first, as we normally do when we enter a restaurant to order something ... after being on the road. This cashier employee runs up to me, saying no no no their bathrooms are closed. So why are the bathrooms closed while the restaurant is open, right? She says the manager has a policy of closing them half an hour before close. They close in half an hour, it’s 5:30, peak dinner hour. This is not customer service. Fact, this is illegal. A business in Calgary muat have a bathroom available in a dining room that has more than 10 seat, & it does. You cannot bar access to bathroom services at any time to cuatomers, or you have to close your dining room. And lose that income. Fact. This is a Calgary Bylaw, and a condition of your restautant Licence. . Please quit this poor business practice. It gets worae I said; that makes no sense you’re open, so the bathroom should be open as well. & she flippantly said, thats not my problem it’s the managers policy. & didn’t seem to care. I looked at her in surprise, a ridiculous policy. There were eight people in the restaurant, with no access to a bathroom, & several people also needed it after I arrived & were also refused. With different excuses I said that doesn’t make any sense if you’re open for business, your bathroom should be open, that’s just not serving your customers. She didn’t care & said it’s the Manager not her. Frustrated, I said OK well, that’s just really poor Customer Service . No attempt was made to get this manager. She actually said to me “Are you sure you want to eat here in this restaurant?” very condescendingly, after denying me a bathroom. I said, “why would you ask that question?” I was astonished at the blunt rudeness. She then said “because of your attitude”. Wow! “my attitude”. lol. Wow. Behing surprised to be denied access to a bathroom because of a “policy”, in a Licenced restaurant, while its open, is not an attitide, its an expectstion in any restaurant with a licence. In fact, a restaurant can’t open unless it has a functioning accessible washroom. I was justifyqnly annoyed, not an “attitude”. & I looked at her astonished and I said “my attitude?” & she said “yes” I said “wow, you really have some bad customer service ability” I told her what I wanted to order, as I was standing at the cash desk & very hungry. she rang it in, & I just ignored this extremely rude person while I waited. I was not interested in escalating. She still didn’t care. I was tempted to leave right there, but hungry, & a regular patron of Wendy’s. Waiting for my drink, other workers were just visually going about their business completely ignoring this. Others customers asked to use the bathroom, and we’re denied. Yet the the excuse changed, to them “being cleaned”. Which was a lie. Obviously being said to avoid pushback. Which again is extremely poor service. She brought a burger up a tray, it was left on the tray while they fried up a brand new batch of fries, no heater. She did not tell me that was my burger. Upon observing this, a minute later I just thought, well I’ll look at the receipt, I saw that it’s my order and I just started eating the burger cause I was hungry waiting for these fries to be made, and it was already getting cold. She chose the tray, to stay, I she not asked me if I were staying or going. I actually needed a bag to go, as I would be driving. Not a big deal usually. She was walking over with my fries and “I said I’ll need a bag please.” me, being polite, even though I had been so rude to. She slapped the fries down on the tray, grabbed a bag and slapped it down looking me in the eye. “I hope you have a terrible life” when said. Imagine! Fire her. Extremely rude. Time line ; 11:30 am April 29th I came and got a chicken wrap and an onion burger. 5:30 - couldn't eat as I felt a little off 8:00 - full on food poisoning 8:30-3:00am -spending the whole night in the bathroom. Stomach on fire and couldn't leave until everything cams out on ... both sides. This place sucks and reading the other reviews looks like I'm not the only one that got food poisoning. Went through drive through. Had to try and process my payment 4 times because their system was not functioning properly. Got home 5 minutes later and the fries I had ordered were cold, not cool COLD. At a time when costs are going up these companies need to at ... least offer hot food and decent service. Read more
