Best made to order burgers, and best gluten free burger buns and n Calgary. Service is always friendly and fast, ingredients always fresh, and care is taken to ensure I don’t get anything with gluten. My last online order I ordered a halal patty, not realizing the South St Burger halal patty ... *isn’t* gluten free. When I picked it up, they let me know, and made another burger from scratch with no complaint, only great customer care. I was impressed (and grateful!). As someone with Celiac, obviously my best fast food option is to go to a strict gluten free facility or to not eat out at all without taking the risk of cross contamination. By far I would have to say South St. Burger takes the utmost care into making sure my ... meal is as safe as possible. Creating my burger in a different area of the kitchen to lessen the risk, as well as multiple glove changes and asking me at the beginning if it's an allergy or preference. Not to mention their gluten free buns are actually amazing!! On several occasions they have whipped out the nutritional fact menu just to confirm certain ingredients are actually gluten free just to be safe. I have never had an allergic reaction from their meals and as long as that continues, this place will always be my Number 1 choice for fast food. Really good chicken and burgers. Definitely gourmet as opposed to fast food quality. Decent size too. And the best part is the 30 toppings you can put on the burger. Little bit pricier than normal fast food but better quality and quantity. Well worth the extra $.
