Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes - Calgary, Alberta

I was at this location recently, as I live in the area. However, I will not be returning to this franchise. The food is good, but not worth the price, in my opinion. We got 4 burger and fries combos, along with 1 milkshake, and the total came to almost ... $75.00. The food was flavorful and hot, and the milkshake was nice, however, while I understand that prices have increased, I didn't feel that the taste or the quality of the food was worth $75 for takeout burgers. The reason why I will not be returning to the franchise overall, especially this location, is because we waited over an hour for our food, and when we asked where the order was, they had lost the ticket with our order on it, so the kitchen didn't even know to make it. We had to prove that we had in fact purchased the food even though we were sitting in the dining room with the drinks and the milkshake from the order. They fixed the problem quickly, and the staff were very apologetic, however, there was no offer to make it right, no coupon to encourage us to return to the location. So, I'd much rather have a burger from a franchise or location that I enjoy and know I'll get my order in time. Read more

Being the customer not really appreciating the behaviour of staff. Some sense of politeness should be used and i really appreciate that little effort towards customers.

Good selection of burger and chicken options. Great fries 🍟

This was a good place for hand-made burgers. There burgers were never frozen. I could taste the freshness of the ingredients they use. Everything was delicious. I enjoyed the Mushroom Swiss burger, onion rings and shakes very much. The service was quick and efficient. Can’t wait to try their Hawaiian ... burger next time! Read more

The menu isn’t so traditional and gives you more options than a larger chain. The staff are dedicated and always give services with a smile and there’s just something about freshly made food rather than something off the heat rack. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I’ve ate ... most of what’s on the menu. Read more
