Wayne’s Bagels - Calgary, Alberta

Phenomenal bagels. Whenever I leave Montreal I load my suitcase up with bagels. Wayne’s definitely fills that void for me here in Calgary. They have always been fresh, consistent and awesome. I enjoyed the multigrain bagel. Not up to the same standard as the famous bagels in Montreal. Have to say that Wayne's are expensive--$8.75 for six. Compare to Montreal at $13.75 for 12.

WOW, what an utter disappointment. The lady at the counter was barely tolerable. The young man making the food should've been on till as he was much more friendlier. That has got to be the absolute worst tasting bagel and lox cream cheese I've EVER had. Store bought Dempster brand ... bagels are a million times better. They said they make their own cream cheese and I can't believe how absolutely flavorless the lox was! No salt no nothing. Brutal. Definitely won't be back. What a shame. Read more

Enjoyed a bagel sandwich for lunch - sooo good! We visited the Wayne’s Bagels at Crossroads Farmers Market, highly recommend.

Bought a pack of bagels from the farmers market and was enjoying it the next morning. Delicious bagels but looked down on my last bite, and found a hair BAKED into the bagel. Tried to pull it out, but it was really baked into it. Disgusting.
