Smitty’s - Calgary, Alberta

We ordered 4 steak sandwiches , 3 beef dip and a veal cutlet dish . The fries were old and cold , we had to make our own steak sandwi he's as it was in all different containers . The Ceasars salad literally contained 10 small pieces of lettuce . I have ... went to many smittys and ordered the steak sandwich . This location is very disappointing especially after spe ding 170 dollars . I will not be going back and highly recommend others not to waste thier money. Read more

Great service and food, the portion sizes are quite large so bring your appetite. Although the interior seems fresh and a clean it does seem dated. The coffee is bland as well, not any better than what you can make at home anymore.

Very good family restaurant, Wanda was very attentive, and always made sure I had my coffee refilled. It was nice and quiet in the morning, very enjoyable breakfast. Love the fish tank in the middle of the restaurant 🙂 Definitely will take my family here for lunch one day.

My only regret was not finding this place sooner! I was in town on business and had been skipping breakfast all week as there didn't appear to be anywhere to get a decent breakfast. I was wrong!!! Found Smitty's on my last morning in town and I couldn't have been ... happier. Great food, great atmosphere and, I believe her name was Wanda, gave excellent service. My mother and I go here every week. Wanda isn't just the wonderful lady that brings us or food she has become our friend. In fact all the service staff are FANTASTIC, we always feel welcomed. The food is always good, and I love watching the fish in their huge ... aquarium. It's a great place for kids because they have this amazing live aquarium they can watch.
