Very lovely Italian restaurant attached to a hotel. Stayed at the hotel for a few days so this restaurant was our daily breakfast place and had dinner here one. Both times, the service and food was great. What was impressive is their bread bar which comes with different types of ... bread (white, wheat, honey oat, rye, marble, etc) along with flavored butter and a toaster grill to toast the bread. This is a very nice atmosphere and super friendly service. The all you can eat break and the process of grilling it ourselves was fun. However, we felt the pizzas were lacking flavor even though they look good. Toppings didn’t really pop out, dough was too soft, needs some crust, ... sauce was dry, too dry. After tasting individual meeting ingredients, they are definitely past fresh, and they taste like the fridge they were in. I think these might be small adjustments. Wishing all the very best! This establishment is a wonderful location to dine. The server, Veronica, was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and accommodating; she deserves the highest commendation. She was particularly helpful in recommending a suitable non-alcoholic beverage when I was undecided. We came here for a late lunch a while ago, and found the food to be mediocre. Service was a bit strange; the hostess made us wait at the front until another group of customers came in because she saw them coming through the window, and didn't want to make ... two trips. Our server also never checked in on us, and we had to flag her down for our bill. Their pasta could definitely use more sauce and flavour. The dish didn't really taste freshly made in house and was on the drier side; even the cheese sprinkled on top barely melted, which was strange. We enjoyed the variety of choices available at the bread grilling station. The biggest drawback was that their grill didn't seem to be working too well and barely crisp our bread, despite circling to different areas on the grill. Overall, I would say they borderline 2.5 stars as our experience was not the greatest. We've definitely had much better food and service at other Italian restaurants. Read more
