My son and I stopped for breakfast before heading home to Swift Current. My son is celiac they made sure to be careful with his food. Well it is Humpty's and to be fair I was not expecting the best tasting breakfast meal I have ever had. But with all that being said the best part of the Humpty's experience was getting a table as soon as we walked in, stop. Food took a while to ... get to our table which explains why the eggs were not warm, I asked for no salsa or fake cheese on my eggs and they came covered in both. Not even really an affodable alternative as the meals are not cheaper than anywhere else. I am disappointed I did not wait in line at the other place. I would like to say that I won't be back but being able to get a table is a big plus to me, if only they could improve on a couple other things. Read more
The server was prompt and friendly. As always the coffee was good and my meal was correct, served hot, tasty and a huge portion. I appreciated the "to go" container and the wonderful service. Only issue for me, parking or lack there of.
The staff was helpful and friendly. During a late lunch, it was extremely quiet. High chairs and colouring books for kids. Comfortable and familiar atmosphere. Priced competitively - overall a good value. However, even for the type of simple/generic or "home-style" kitchen fare that is Humpty's staple, I found the ... food here a bit wanting.
