Humpty’s Family Restaurant - Calgary, Alberta

Breakfast cooked wrong, served cold. All 4 breakfasts were served cold, ordered 4 eggs benys soft eggs all came cooked hard, all dishes were served cold. We will never go back. Just got home from Mexico and wanted a good hot breakfast. I do not recommend this restaurant.

We stopped here for lunch because of kids live Humpty's. They weren't disappointed. I also got the nachos and, unlike a previous time I got nachos at another Humpty's, I got the chicken version. They were much better. That said, the farmer's omelette that we ordered did not have any ... cheese on it which I'm not sure was a miss or is how it's put on the menu (if it is like that on the menu, that seems really weird to have an omelet without any cheese and I would suggest they change that). The food very good and the portion was good too

It's a nice brunch place. I tried the Western pan, and requested spicy. They add jalapeno and it tastes good. My friend tried the omelette with spinach, tomato, and mushroom, and he like it. The coffee was ok. The price is ok, around 10-17 for breakfast menu. The service ... was great, they make sure you get what you need, and the food come fast. Read more

Presentation and Packaging 5/5 My food was nicely packaged! Everything else like sauces were added to the side, even though I completely forgot about them. (I ordered to go) The utensils were wrapped really nicely. The serving sizes were good too! Curly Fries These are as you would expect! They're packed with taste, ... and they taste like curly fries, haha. They're fried really nice, and still crispyish and good after 20+mins. Potato Fritters These don't taste so good after 20+mins, but that's my fault so I didn't take the star off for that. These are also as you would expect! Surprisingly, they're not super greasy like I'd expect them to be! They're as you'd expect! Linguine Alfredo with Shrimp Really big serving size! I thought for sure it was going to be 1/2 of this, which is why I didn't go one size smaller. They use the sour cream variant for the alfredo sauce, which I didn't enjoy because you can still taste the tangy sour, but otherwise I was really pleased! (The other alternative was that something was spoiled! But I would really hope not. :) ) I had to take a star off here because I feel like I wouldn't have ordered if I had known it'd taste like this.
