Our first time here, on a date with my husband. We sat on the patio, it was slightly chilly, so they turned on the overhead heaters and there was also a blanket on my chair just in case. Bow Valley Restaurant is a wonderful dining spot right in the middle of Calgary. It has a cozy and welcoming vibe. The service was top-notch, with very nice and helpful staff. During our visit for a wine tasting event, we asked if they could make some vegetarian dishes for us, ... and they happily accommodated our request. The flavors of the food were really strong and delicious, and the way it was presented looked great. The portions were quite big too. If you're a meat-eater, you'll definitely enjoy this place. Really enjoyed our first visit to the Bow Valley Ranch. Located in an old farm our it is really incredibly kept. The inside is just as nice. Staff was professional and efficient getting us situated. They have an excellent wine list with some delicious cocktails. The food was amazing. Highly ... recommend the burrata cheese, and oysters. The duck was an interesting appetizer, but was delicious. Followed that with some steak and scallops. Both done to perfection. Service was present but not overbearing. Dessert is always nice so we had the chocolate crème brûlée.
