Living in the neighbourhood I have tended to wander into this place several times over the last year. It is very expensive but I enjoyed the product. Each time I came though I noticed just how expensive it really was for what I was getting. Their green juice for $11 ... that is mostly celery and apple. A bite sized snikerdoodle for $6. It is very clique and I felt I often wasn't a welcomed customer. The last time I went in I was shocked to see changes to their debit/visa machine. I was welcomed with a smile as I entered. I was just getting a juice and payed by MasterCard and the machine forced me to choose a tip option of a given percentage or dollar amount. I had no other option but to choose dollar amount and did not put in a tip amount. After I finished paying I was handed my receipt without a word and then my juice without a word and it felt very awkward! Maybe I am making an assumption that my service changed following me not leaving a tip. But in a non serviced to-go juice bar why are customers even forced to tip anyways? I'm already spending $11+ on juice. Despite enjoying their product, my last experience really left a bad taste in my mouth and i can't get over how expensive it is! I definitely won't be back. Was happy to find this gem while travelling. Was seeking Bulletproof Coffee, and they do it properly! Also enjoyed the ginger/cayenne/lemon shots. Good atmosphere and location. Broth too!

Their smoothies are yummy! The staff are nice and helpful. They helped me make a decision on what smoothie to get. I loved the smoothie I got and was able to sit in the store sipping the smoothie for an hour.
