Told them we'd come in half an hour and they said ok and hung up before we could get ... our second order in... I attempted to call back several times but always got a busy signal. Robert, As the owner I need to make you aware of my latest experience to your bbq shop. I have been your customer for better part of 10 years. With inflation I can only stop by for special occasions cuz you make a good product. However, my beef is with your lack ... of customer service. The two elderly Asian ladies whom I will call the Chinese Mafia Sisters tried to pass a fast one on me. I ordered the 2-item lunch box ($13) and they acknowledged my order. However, when time to pay I got half a duck ($26) and I pushed back hard. They claimed that there was no more rice when they already prepared a container with it and were quite insistent that I take the half duck as they feigned not knowing any English. I switched to Chinese and leveraged your name which is when I got some co-operation. I finally got what I wanted for the new price of $15. This whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn’t expect to work so hard to place an order with the Mafia Sisters. I my line of work this the classic “bait & switch”. I’m hoping this is being done without your knowledge. Perhaps less time on the golf course (don’t know your winter pastime) and more training with upgraded English skill for the Mafia sisters. I wanted to say hi to you as I stopped by before this incident happened. Perhaps the other problem is your incentives for these ladies to upsell to generate more revenue. Probably the best Chinese BBQ house in Calgary. I've tried a lot of places and the BBQ duck here is succulent with a crisp burgundy color skin. Flavour is just the right amount of saltiness and aromatics. I always get the pig ear and organ meats which is good for ... dipping in the Chilli oil. Read more

I wanted to buy BBQ pork and roast duck. I dropped by at 5.30 they closed right after I parked my car. Google shows their store opens till 6, I was pretty upset as the operating time is not accurate. I came in the afternoon next day, I told the ... old lady I wanted half duck which is $24. Instead she cut a whole duck and told me to buy it. I was totally shocked, I was intended to buy only half of duck, she told me she already cut the whole duck and I didn’t tell her I wanted half. It’s very unethical business practices to force customers overpay for the product. My husband and I found the duck very salty and dry, it tastes like unsold duck from the day before they just reheated. I will not come back to the store!!! Read more
