Had lunch here with some friends. The burgers were very good. Service was very slow, didn't get to order food until half an hour after we sat down.

Food Quality: 4/5 Price: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 2/5 Consistency: 0/5 The food is quite good and the prices are about on par with what you'd expect for the quality. It's nice that there are some gluten-free options if you're concerned about this. The ambiance of the place is pretty nice and there is live ... music on Wednesdays. The real downside to Township is in consistency of both product quality and especially service. We've gone here four times in the last six months and will not be returning after this last visit. Each time we've visited the service has been worse. It seems that instead of hiring servers, Township opts to have two or three bartenders that also are responsible for serving the entire restaurant. The downside is that even if you're sitting a few steps away from the bar, there's a possibility that you won't get any service from the overworked bartender/servers. If Township provided a consistent level of service that matched its price point (which is on-par with a place like Joey's), then I'd give it a 4/5 stars overall, however when you're paying $26-30 a plate, you deserve better than a place where you need to go searching for someone to take your order. Save yourself the hassle and go to a place where they've figured out how to deliver good service consistently - I think there's a Keg a few blocks away - try there. Read more

I've been for a couple business day lunches and they are consistently slow at lunch. The kitchen can't seem to keep up with a lunch rush and we end up waiting over an hour for food to arrive. No complaints about the service staff, can't fault them for a ... slow kitchen. The manager will come to apologize but I'd rather just get my order promptly. The food is ok. Read more
