I had an excellent time! They have a smart and efficient system for seating and ordering food/drinks. Great staff. I will definitely go back.

The comedians were funny, but the service was pretty lacking. We arrived early, and our server took our drink order, brought our drinks, and then never came back to our table to take our food order. He only returned to our table when it came to paying our bill. We ... tried to flag him down, and he would walk right past. It made for a cheap night, considering we never got to order food. We went to the Laugh Shop for a comedy night. It was a good night out for my wife's birthday. We were taken by a great friend. It's totally worth trying out. 😁 The laugh shop is located inside the Blackfoot hotel. There is ... plenty of space to hold a lot of people. 😃 We had dinner in the hotel restaurant b4 heading to the laugh shop that was located conviently down the hall. 🍲🍗 Inside the comedy club, they had decently priced drinks. Some guests had food that you could order. The tables are very small, so I would assume they are not the best for dining. 🍷🍻 Most people clearly came for the comedy show and only had drinks. 🥃😁 The show itself was very good with 3 intro people doing their comedy for a few minutes to warm the crowd up, and of course, the main headliner Bob was the funniest of them all. 😂 Read more

We bought tickets in advance. This place is in an industrial area and probably easiest to get there if you're in a car. It could take a while to get there on public transit, depending where you're coming from. We arrived early and entry into the club was orderly and organized. ... As other reviewers have said, the seating plan is less than ideal and the place needs a facelift. Having said that, the photos of the comedians who have played there over the years was really great and if/when they renovate, I hope they keep those. The food was OK, but not outstanding. There were limited options for vegetarians. We found it awkward and confusing to find the washrooms, too. This place is a Calgary landmark and it has great potential. Read more
