I really enjoy almost everything about this place. The food is pretty good and well priced, their happy hour deals are great and I love that the have village on tap. My only criticism is that they don't have enough servers especially during busy hours. Great community pub with seating to watch the rink, really good food, probably the best wings I've ever had and craft beer!

Following GPS and pulling up to a community center was pretty confusing, especially since my friend just told me to meet him at The Barn, which I had never been to before. It's actually upstairs from the hockey rink, which took me a couple minutes to figure out. The bar itself ... is pretty small but looks nice and was really clean. Also, the service was very friendly and attentive. We went here to watch NFL on a Sunday afternoon. There are a few good sized TVs and we got audio for the game we wanted to watch. The only other people in the bar were some parents who were watching their kids play hockey from the bar window into the arena. It was a nice relaxed place to watch the game, but I wouldn't come here for the game-time atmosphere, at least not on a Sunday afternoon. The food was great. I ordered off of the breakfast menu and I loved every bite. Very good quality for the price. Read more

Great place. The Barn is a family friendly bar inside of the West Hillhurst Community Centre. You can watch sports and watch live hockey games/ training while you enjoy a beer and kids are allowed.
