Peanuts Public House - Calgary, Alberta

Have not been in for awhile. Not sure why pubs are so bent on using high stools as I find they hurt my legs, but did find a spot in the back with lower seating. The server was extremely well trained, however she did not offer us the free peanuts ... and we only found out about them when another table got them. I ordered the salt and pepper wings and was very disappointed. There was absolutely no salt on them and very little pepper and no flavor but wet chicken to the wings. Stopped in based on a recommendation and have to say that the steak sandwich with the fries and Caesar salad was absolutely delicious…I wouldn’t change anything about it 👌 service was great and will definitely go again😊

I go here with friends every once in a while to diffuse and relax, the hosts are incredibly nice and accommodating the food here is also really good, and compared to other pubs the price of the booze here I think is better than most places. I haven't tried a ... lot of stuff on the menu yet, but the chicken wings I had here were amazing I think they were the best wings I've ever tried. I like the environment and the ambiance of the location allot just in general a good time. There are like 5 TVs and allot of comfortable chairs. as a whole just a really good place with good prices. Great little pub. Lots of tv's to watch sports on. The brisket Sandwich is superb. Our waitress Jane was fantastic

Had a fantastic steak sandwich here today. Was cooked perfectly and not chewy at all - added onions this time - they were really good. Can't wait to come back.
