Love this restaurant especially for lunch as their dim sum are large, flavourful and well priced. They added noodle soup under $10 and their dim sum is the best value in town. Staff is efficient and helpful. Lily, our server, was amazing as she provided many great suggestions and advice. ... Highly recommend for dinner as well. Read more
It’s very expensive considering how much you get. We ordered Peking duck - 3 courses and it’s a good thing we ordered extra dishes. The duck was so thin and I’m sure they only gave us half of what we should e got. The dishes here are smaller portions than ... any Chinese restaurant I’ve been to. And they cost an average of $4-$5 more per item. The food was ok but compared to what you’re paying - not worth it. We went here cause it was closer to home. You’re better off driving to Chinatown. The restaurant at the Chinese Cultural Center is fantastic. Read more
Consistently good food quality, the soy sauce chicken today was a tad dry though, could have been an off night but is a go to place for Chinese food. Purposely ordered extra for leftovers, good for another 2-3 meals at least, great value.
Terrible experience, so unorganized that it is basically chaos in here. High prices and mediocre portions. Rude staff when asked any questions about food. Seated at 713pm and ordered within a few minutes even though they only gave 1 menu for the table. 835pm and the order still is not ... out. Tables are being served out of order too, simply put this place is just garbage. Do your self a favor and skip this place Update --- deep fried crab claw came out, it was good enough, $7 each 850pm plate of choi came out 915, gave up and left... wife still paid Read more
Consistent & Customized. Good Chinese food with consistency in flavor no matter what time you dine in, busy or not. Being consistently good clearly shows such expertise and professionalism. Able to “customize” the food by request, all you need to do is ask if it’s possible. Usually, for customers with allergies on ... certain ingredients or if one prefers chicken instead of duck. Egg Foo Young, and Pineapple Fried Rice are personal favorites and basis if a Chinese restaurant is good. Hardworking Staff. Typically jam-packed everytime. One of the indicators that a restaurant serves excellent food. Nevertheless, well trained staff can be able to accommodate you in no time, that is if there’s an available table for you. Old-Fashioned and Clean. A clean and old fashioned ambience which you typically see in a Chinese restaurant with round tables and Chinese-style chairs. Usually 90% of the customers are Chinese-Canadians. Atmosphere is bustling with customers and staff conversing with each other everytime. Read more
