Asian Buffet - Calgary, Alberta

We had a great time. My wife enjoyed the sushi bar while the kids tried a few different items. The Lemon chicken was delicious and the fried scallops weren't bad either. The big hit were the fruit milkshakes the girls tried. We will be going back.

We were very skeptical given the mixed reviews about this location. It was not disappointing, and the food did not taste bad, however some of the items were cold, or lukewarm, therefore not fulfilling. Some items were mid, nothing special, so you have to try a bit of everything to ... figure out what you want. No coffee or tea? No salads? Parking is difficult to find, be wary of that. We had to track down an employee to get us seated - we had a reservation... It's worth it if you need to consume a large quantity of food. Unfortunately, my experience at this Asian buffet was extremely disappointing. The food quality was noticeably low, with many dishes tasting stale or overly processed. It was evident that the ingredients were of subpar quality, resulting in a lack of flavor and freshness across the board. Haven’t been here in several years (pre covid) and was happy with the selection of food (man, am I stuffed!!). We went on off hours and the place was mostly empty. Nice staff, although we weren’t sure whether to seat ourselves or not, so ended up waiting a long ... time for someone to come help. Next time, we will seat ourselves. My favourite dishes were the mushrooms, long beans and giant mussels! We will return as a family next time for dinner :) Read more
