This was the first place to eat in Calgary and first stop leaving the airport. We ordered the Large Maple Bacon Poutine. This had double Smoked maple bacon topped with maple syrup. These poutines are LOADED with toppings and definitely hit the spot when you want something rich, textured, and when you're craving fries. We got 4 different poutines and shared among 4 people. Honestly the large size is huge and I've never been able to finish a large between 2 people ... so getting a regular is usually enough unless you have a really big appetite. My favourite is the maple bacon and the southwest. They taste so different from each other that alternating between bites of the two prolongs taste fatigue; doesn't feel like you're eating the exact same thing every bite. Read more

Love coming here for a midweek lunch date! This place has great options on their menu for a whole swack of different poutine flavours. There are some Gluten-Free options as well and they seem mindful of cross contamination which is nice to see. I enjoyed the Butter ... Chicken poutine this time around but I definitely look forward to coming back to try some of the others! Parking can be tedious as it is in Kensington but it's not too far off of the Sunnyside train station. Definitely a good recommendation coming from this guy for anyone wanting to try it out! Tried the Hog Heaven poutine and it had a smooth, sweet, BBQ sauce with tender pulled pork. It did take ~7 mins to make but it was worth it. If there was one downside, it was that they didn't give that much cheese curds. They offer a free huge pickle ... when paying with cash but I think what I appreciated the most was the employee that helped me to understand what the different flavors would turn out like. Amazing little place. Searched for poutine place nearby and it was suggested by Google. I don't regret it. Asked for a large smoked meat poutine. The portion size was HUGE! Being a large poutine guy I thought I would be able to finish it. But decided to stop torturing myself ... and gave up. The poutine tasted really good. Although I don't like the mustard on it. But if you like mustard it's a sure thing to try. The staffs were nice and accommodating. Definitely a place to visit again. Read more
