I had a fantastic dining experience at Flavours that truly felt like a taste of home in Africa. The food was incredibly delicious. My family and I ordered a variety of dishes, including egusi soup with goat, efo riro with fish, pounded yam, goat suya, and snails, all of which ... were exquisite. To complement our meal, we enjoyed refreshing Malta drinks (vitamalt). The owner, Bola, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, personally greeting us and engaging in friendly conversation. The service was not only friendly but also proactive, offering sweets to my kids and ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. One highlight for my family was the opportunity to eat with our hands, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the meal. My children absolutely loved it! Overall, dining here felt like a warm and inviting taste of Africa, and we can't wait to return. We're excited to see Flavours at Calgary Stampede - yes, they will be there! Been with Flavours many times and I keep on coming back. Also, I love their points saving, my crew loves the platter. The owners are friendly and always have a warm welcome to every customers. My first time today and I won’t be back. We had whole fish, chicken meal, beef, jolloff rice, plantain and puff puff. Sadly, the only 2 items that were enjoyable were the puff puff and the plantain, which anyone can make. The rest of the food is lacking in ... any special flavour or seasoning. The worse part was the customer service, or lack of it. No greeting at the door, no smile, very cold attitude. They could stand learn a lot about customer service expectations in Calgary. Food is also overpriced. $25 for one small white fish which doesn’t include any side dishes. $93 tot was a lot to pay for flavourless basics and no customer service. I won’t be back. Read more

Had an amazing experience here today, the food was delicious but the owners were even better! Such a friendly atmosphere, and we just so happened to come in on their buffet day, so there was a range of different foods for us to choose from.
