Turkish Donair - Burnaby, British Columbia

I love it when I stumble across a great unexpected serving of food. Turkish Donair was there when I was walking down the street and feeling like a bite to eat. Moments later I was noshing on the best donair I've ever eaten. My partner initially chose not to eat, ... but once she had a taste of mine (lamb), she couldn't not order one for herself. I now have a new destination restaurant, and I'm already making a mental plan for my next visit. It's a bit out of the way for me, but I'll find excuses to go back to the area. The chicken from outside looked great, juicy and tender, is not what I got in my wrap. It was a stored in a container it was dried and over cooked the wrap had way too much lettuce . They have big serving for it's affordable price. Place is clean. Owner and staff are very friendly too. Will definitely order again. They offer 3 types of meat; lamb, beef and chicken. Good place.

The donairs are amazing! Meats are tender and wraps have great sauce. The man serving was very welcoming and super nice! Would recommend anytime!

Stopped in here for lunch the other day. The gentleman working there was super friendly. He welcomed me to his shop and gave me a few recommendations. I went with the beer donair and the chicken platter. This is a small place but the food was ... delicious. The chicken was very seasoned and had very good flavours. The rice in the platter was so good it really complimented the chicken. Lots of cumbers and tomatoes with fresh lettuce. Overall a great dish. My donair meat was also very good. It was juicy and had tons of flavour. The donair's pita was thin and not thick like other places I've been too. Again loaded with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, hummus, hot sauce and tzatziki.
