Hanwoori Korean Restaurant – 5740 Imperial Street - Burnaby, British Columbia

I haven't been to this restaurant for a while but almost 20yrs ago I would go often when I lived nearby. I was close by and craved it. The food remains delicious... All the little side dishes are yummy. The meat for the BBQ met my cravings. The service hasn't always ... been the best because I feel they are always understaffed. Always very kind. Just ring the bell if you need something because the servers don't check in on you to ask if everything is fine. I just went up to the counter to pay the bill. I will be back if I'm near the area. We were so hungry and looking for korean food on the way to vancouver. We left full, i just have to mentioned that our beef fried rice had 1 tiny shrimp left in it even our veggie soup! Please be careful, there were only few tables when we came there

Great quality food, and a surprising amount of meat came with the beef tongue dish! Usually I find other Korean restaurants only give 8-10 pieces but you can see the generous amount in the attached picture. Great place for group gatherings! The food was not bad either and the service was good, would definitely recommend if you’re with a group of people.
