Very friendly staff. Presentation of food was awesome and I loved a driced ice effect on their assorted sashimi plate (in the picture). Taste-wise, I've had better at other sushi places for the same price. Overall their menu was 30 - 50% more expensive than others.
My husband and I had one night here in Vancouver and happened to be staying in the Delta Grand Villa Casino/Hotel. We decided to eat Japanese food at neighboring Katsu Japanese Restaurant and are sure glad we did! We were welcomed by friendly owners and staff, and enjoyed the ... best Japanese food we have had in a very long time! The atmosphere was quiet and authentic, and the staff was awesome and took very good care of us! Katsu has been opened only 2months and it is quite the gem! We highly recommend it! Even the entire ZZ Top band have recently given them great reviews! Please venture in and say HI to Ocean and Harton for us!!! They will take great care of you and you will NOT be disappointed in your delicious meal! Read more
Superb Okra dishes here. Not many Japanese restaurants serve them. Rolls are tasty too.
The food and service were fantastic! We had the volcano roll, the teriyaki beef, and the tempura and they were all unbelievably good. The service was very fast, and our waitress Ocean provided some great suggestions. Definitely recommend!!

Read the positive review and drop in on the weekend. Waiter was nice but pushy to recommend lobster, urchin aired from Japan,blue fin tuna etc expensive items. Sashimi is fresh and good but sushi is so so as rice is dry. Overall pricey.
