Ramen is tasty with a lot of vegan options. It is pricy though, so the contents could be more flavourful. The chopped onions sink to the bottom which overtakes the broth near the end.

Amazing place with very humble staff, this was our first time trying Ramen... So server explained about everything very well.. and he made some good recommendations too. Decided to drop by here for an early dinner and got seated right away at the bar in front of the ramen chefs. The interior layout was a nice fusion of modern and Japanese aesthetics. I loved that there was ventilation in the restaurant considering how hot it might get ... making noodles. My bf loves spicy food so when he saw the premium tonkatsu red ramen he just had to challenge their spice level. You can add up to 1-10 spicy levels. After 6 levels, there was an extra fee of $1 so we stuck to level 6. Warning!! Level 6 was no joke. He ate all the contents in the ramen and enjoyed it but was not able to finish the soup part. I had the tonkatsu black and was satisfied enough. The takoyaki came out as a surprise as I never had it with an egg sauce before and was tasty. I ended up dipping the fried chicken with the egg sauce instead! Along with our meals, we got two drinks which were alright. My favorite dish was the dessert. The Panna cotta was on the happy hour menu and I am a die hard for anything pudding-like, mousse-like, flan-like so I ordered it. tl;dr the ramen is made without love. You can tell. From $20 I think you deserve better. The classic Jinya tonkotsu ramen looks great but the broth lacks richness. It tastes like when someone cooks something according to the recipe but doesn’t actually taste it to adjust it. Same goes for ... the chashu pork. The noodles were done well. The highlight was the spicy fish taco. The flavour was spot on and the shell nice and crunchy. Could have easily eaten another order. Service was quick and the ramen and spicy tuna tacos came out very quickly. Servers were attentive as well. Read more

First time eating at Jinya Ramen Bar. Very good presentation and atmosphere, service was good too. Now onto the food. Ramen is priced on the higher side.
