The best time to go is in the late afternoon before the dinner rush, there were lots of open tables in the restaurant and fast service. We got our food in less than 10 minutes. Obviously the big draw of this place is their massive portions, one plate can easily ... serve 3-4 people. Apparently they have a minimum order per person but since we got drinks we were fine. My spouse and I split a single plate and still had enough to bring home. The food was pretty good, the sauce was flavorful and the tortellini was decent. Date night! We were referred to this restaurant by our friend and personal trainer. It did not disappoint! A little bit of a wait outside to get into this little gem as it seems to be quite popular, and for good reasons. The atmosphere was quite ... comfortable, service was excellent, and the food… Wow! Homemade pasta, not a trace of anything “store bought” and portions that reflect that of true Italian cooking. Never a hungry belly leaving this place I guarantee it. Great flavors, great prices, and a great place to eat. If you haven’t been, I recommend going. I can guarantee that this will be a restaurant experience you will want to enjoy more than once. Loved the food and experience. Got free bread and penne with sausage, feta and olives. All the dishes look so good though. When people say large portions, it’s not a lie! One dish can feed 2-3 adults which is an amazing deal. Service was efficient and friendly. Bathroom was clean. Only things ... would be that it is pretty packed and can be loud, with long wait times. My recent dine in experience at Anton’s was great. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The potions are incredibly generous, and every dish we tried was bursting with flavours. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and we really liked the sauces. The staff ... were also attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The guy who was serving us went above and beyond to help us have a good dine in experience. I heard about Anton’s from many people and it had ~30 minutes lineup on a Friday night. Service is great and everything looks fresh and authentic. We ordered one pasta and one baked dish, the portions were huge and each meal could be for 2-3 people. The pasta was a bit dry, ... the amount of sauce was not enough for that portion. We did not like it. We definitely had better pasta in Vancouver. The baked dish tasted really good and I recommend it.
