Curries were full of flavor and medium spice had plenty of heat. Friendly service. Price is quite high for the portions. Buffet option is no longer offered.

I ordered the saffron rice lamb Curry and butter chicken along with Tandoori Roti and garlic naan. i got the dishes spicy and was not disappointed.

I ordered the Shah Jhani Biryani and to be honest it was not worth the $17 I paid for. The order was mainly rice and there was not even a lot of chicken. I received 5 little cubed pieces of chicken and I am wondering if I am paying mainly ... for the rice or what. I ordered cutlery, I did not get any, I do not know if the restaurant expected me to use my hands. Very disappointing indeed! I even had to walk to Starbucks to ask for cutlery and a straw. Best Indian food I have had anywhere. Everyone I have taken there, including those familiar with North Indian food loved it. Indeed when I ask where shall we order from, it's always the first choice. I noticed a couple of low scores - FAKES? Maybe - all are dated 2 ... years ago ... before Google was checking. It's a short walk from where I live and I eat there as often as I can. STILL the Best place for Indian Food in Vancouver. These guys are very consistent with their food and service! I have been trying difference places but I keep coming back - the food quality is just like the first time I tried it. Prices are really reasonable and you can always ... get a table. The Garlic Nan bread had the perfect amount of garlic and the Rice weren't mushed together and had long grains...all served with WARM plates! That is five star service right there.
