Great Bear Pub and Liquor Store - Burnaby, British Columbia

Great food and service with amazing amotsphere - came on Karaoke night (Saturdays). Had the Ancho Wrap and Signature Platter. It’s the second time I’ve had the wrap and it’s delicious 🤤 Everything on the platter was fried to perfection and came out hot. Highly recommend this gem in our Burnaby neighbourhood.

We organized a get together here on Karaoke night. They separated an area just for our group. Our waitress was really good. Super attentive and efficient with the amount of people we were. Food was ok. I ordered a pull pork sandwich that didn’t taste at all like pull pork but ... the fries were really good. The Bear Pub in Burnaby is a great spot for hanging out with friends or catching a game. They've got a good selection of beers and some tasty pub grub, especially the burgers and wings. The chicken wings are both crunchy and well-sauced. They give you about nine and they are a proper size wing. No dinky wings. The fries are great, too! Now my regular pub. :D

Standard pub experience; I wasn't expecting the food to be great and it wasn't, the beef in the Beef Dip was chewy and full of peppers. The fries were thick cut with a fluffy interior was nice but I wasn't fond of the flavours. Butter chicken was flavourful, but it was ... gritty and the naan was really lacking. There's a lot of activities here, like darts, billiards, and karaoke, and that was great. Read more
