Freshslice Pizza - Burnaby, British Columbia

Fresh Slice is my best choice in Canada, it's convenient and unbeatable in the fast food industry. My kids love the cheese Pizza and beef pizza, you can manually add more cheese on the beef pizza, enhance the delicious. My family like eating here and enjoy the relaxeble.

My experience with this food store was so amazing. I visited here very first time with my gf. We ordered Medium $12 pizza deal. They prepped our pizza in front of us. They called us for choosing the toppings. We were surprised to see how they were making our pizza. It ... just took 5-7 minutes to our pizza. Me and my gf planned to do dine-in. We bought couple of things like dips and drinks too. And we had beautiful time in store with yummy food. First time ever we finished our whole pizza and i think it was because of loaded toppings. Just changed my review. There’s a sign saying if you do a Google review you can get a slice of pizza. I was just passing by and thought I would get my slice but was also wondering how easy it would be. What followed was me ... having a strange conversation for at least 5 minutes with a server trying to convince me this wasn’t my account, my google review. She couldn’t find my review on her computer. I took a photo outside, not inside was seemed to be a problem. Also problematic was that I was here 2 weeks ago so it didn’t count, etc etc. my take away is that you should go into Fresh Slice to buy a pizza and you should do the google review right in front of them…. I think. I finally said “Oh… my… god!!!” Then she said ok which piece do you want. I told her. The other server switched the piece I asked for to another kind of bland pizza. Just an interesting transaction I thought I’d share. BTW I didn’t do the google review for the free pizza! If they’re going to advertise something live up yo their word. I order a pizza for the Super Bowl every year as a tradition. For nostalgia, for a change, I ordered from Freshslice (through their app) as when I first came to Canada 16 years ago their pizza was what I’d have. Unfortunately the pizza was NOT nostalgic at all. I hate ... to admit this but it may be the worst pizza I’ve had in some years! Certainly didn’t taste like that many years ago! Not only did the order not follow my instructions (please do NOT cut my pizza) but the quality was really disappointing. The crust was too much on this XL pizza, the two toppings very minimal, the tomato base sauce required salt & flavour and the cheese was simply ‘meh’. Sorry to say but even a frozen pizza from the supermarket would have been miles better. “Pizza even when bad is still supposed to be good” - sadly this was so bad! I am really disappointed. I really don't like put bad reviews for people but this time I have to I never seeing pizza the way made look at the chicken it looks like cheese because there's nothing on it the way looks two small one big everything wasn't good about this pizza it ... looks like unprofessional made take look please see if I'm wrong about it?
