A good variety of Portuguese products that are difficult to find elsewhere in the Lower Mainland.

I love to prepare a cod in the oven with onions, potatoes, tomatoes and olives. The dry and salty cod I bought here definitely pushed up my recipe.

I've never had Portuguese egg tarts, so I have no basis for comparison, but as an avid pastry lover, I can vouch that the ones I received here were delicious. The person that directed us to this place said to enjoy them warmed up just a smidge w. sprinkled cinnamon ... on top. Despite getting a box of 12, we never got around to trying them that way as they all seemed to disappear before that happened haha. Tasties aside, there was a variety of other imported Portuguese goods, such as coffee, cured meats, sausages, olive oil, sea salt (great price!) sardines, soda and red pepper, garlic and chili pastes. The first time try the Portuguese food. The owner was very patient to explain me everything. Eventually got the “ready to eat” sausage and very fresh bread for my lunch (just warmed up in the office microwave very convenient) yummy will come back for sure!
