Szechuan Tasty Restaurant - Burnaby, British Columbia

The spicy chicken barely has any meat, just red peppers. Add all the meat together equals one drumstick. This is rediculous. It is not worth $23. We will never go back again due to the poor food quality, service and atmoaphere.

My family’s go to restaurant for authentic Szechuan food. We always order from their specials menu and the Cumin Lamb.

Ate there once and ordered 5-6 dishes, at the end, we tipped them 13 bucks in cash and they told us straight in the face that the tip wasn’t enough (their service wasn’t good AT ALL so we thought it’s already plenty). Have to leave this review after a long ... time cuz we home grown Chinese don’t claim this behavior. Besides this, the food is average based off someone who lived in Chongqing for several years, we did and you can also find better Szechuan cuisine in Burnaby or Richmond. Read more

Food is just cooked to perfection. Visited Szechuan Cusine around 4 times in the last 10 days with my parents and then with my brothers. We always order and never get tired of their Cumin Grilled Lamb and their Chilli/Salted Deep Fried Prawn.

We thought it would be spicy, it wasn't, but the flavour was incredible. Perhaps it was the dishes we picked? Perhaps we are just used to seriously hot food? Also had a bucket of rice, perfectly cooked but we all know what great rice looks like. I should add, ... huge portions, so don't be intimidated when you see the price. Will definitely go back.
