Uncle Willy’s Buffet - Burnaby, British Columbia

Ive been enjoying coming here since late 90s , its like one of only uncle willys buffets in the country remaining , lots of seating areas and comfy booths , decent verity its nothing super fancy like the casino buffets , ... the verity is bit more better at dinner times here and this place is ideal for large families aswell, my personal favorite is the fish tacos , chowmain ,ice cream . Location is on metrotown mall property on the north east corner .....I wished we still had the buffets we had in metro Vancouver like in the 80s 90s early 2000s those were awesome buffet days in city and very good for families and people's budgets too . Please have some deserts that arnt gluten free been here 4 times now , every time the ice cream is the only good thing:( ( for me and my family ) tonight the Apple rhubarb is amazing tho ! & Staff is very friendly ☺️

It’s been almost 20 years since the last time we visited. Came here for our childhood memory. I have to say we were impressed! Loved the FOOD ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The food had a lot of options to try if it's your first time. However, I would skip a few items next time. It was so much worth at 18.99 per person. I tried some dishes and especially loved their desserts, coffee and soft serve. Add some soft ... serve to your coffee, it tastes good. And surprisingly, they added Indian mixed veg curry which is next to the dessert plate in the photo, being an Indian, I can say it was super delicious and authentic. Worse than I remembered. Sadly this place has not aged well. I remember it was a treat as a kid to go here. Dad loved buffets. But the soup looked canned, the salad bar was almost non existent and the hot food was stale. So e of it was ok. ... The tandoori chicken, roast beef, etc. For the price maybe it's ok? But for an extra $10 you can go somewhere much nicer so not again. Read more
