A cozy cafe in GardenWorks. The food was not outstanding but the beautiful sunshine made everything look better. We had an enjoyable breakfast under the relaxing vibes.

I've been to Mandeville gardens multiple times but have never eaten at their cafe! Initially I found it pricey but today I decided I would go ahead and have something there. For the price you get a lot of food and it's very delicious! I had brie and turkey breast ... panini with a cranberry mayo. To my surprise it came with a lovely fresh salad and the most amazing dressing on the side. It was so much food. I had the rest for dinner. The atmosphere is quaint, the outdoor space was beautiful. The service was pleasant and quick. They have a selection of decadent treats, drinks, and a lunch and breakfast menu. I would highly recommend this little cafe. Read more

This adorable cafe is tucked inside the Gardenworks shop. The bright, casual dining area exudes a relaxing vibe. Tried the Smoked Salmon Benedict and Bacon & Eggs breakfast: both were simply prepared but hit the spot. Special shoutout to the potato bites - fluffy insides with crispy outer layer, perfectly satisfying ... my carb craving. Service from the friendly staff was efficient without being overbearing. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality. The only hiccup was finding the Lobster Bisque a bit too rich and salty for my liking. After brunching, I browsed the plant selection next door which is top-notch. Ended up bringing home some beautiful blooms to spruce up for CNY. In summary, this hidden gem is a fantastic low-key destination whether you want a tranquil pre-shop meal or a post-shopping retreat. Recommend stopping by if you find yourself in the area of Burnaby. I've been to Gardenworks a couple times, but this time I finally had time to enjoy the cafe. The lovely sunshine made everything look much more beautiful I must say. The spacious indoor area was lit up by the sun coming from the skylight. The terrace was radiating under the sun ... and has such a relaxing vibes. All customers were enjoying themselves in their own ways. We ordered a BLT and turkey meat panini with coffee. I loved my BLT as I could taste the freshness of the veggies from their crunch. The bacon was crisp like chips. While munching his panini, my husband kept praising how much turkey meat it was in the panini. He complemented that he has never had such a "generous" panini before.
