Horrible BBQ spot.. ribs dry, brisket is a complete fail.. my first ever brisket was better than that...and it's more like roast beef and no smokey flavor.. the Italian suasage.. wow 1 for 9 dollars and tastes like they boilded it first then flopped it on the grill ... to get some basic marks and over cook it more.. inconsistent, completely unsatisfied and will never order again.. completely trash..never go here. I love the accountability our waitress / server took for a mistake, that goes a long way in my book, accommodating to kids, we live really far away so probably won’t be back, definitely would recommend for a nice change of menu. Food was amazing,really enjoyed it! The service was a little odd. Was told asking for a coffee would take an hour and their creamer was expired. We were served water and that's it until we asked for drinks.

Right off the bat, I have strong opinions on bbq ribs and this review will reflect that. Reference points - Joe’s in KC and Pappy’s in St. Louis. Ribs here are a tad dry and the meat doesn’t fall off the bone. No sauce options on the table, nor a ... dry-rub option (Memphis style). If this is the best Vancouver has to offer, I guess I won’t be eating ribs in this city again. The baked beans have pulled pork in it (which is awesome) and the small fries portion size is big. This is my first time at the restaurant and sadly the last, I love eating and always supports small businesses. After reading great reviews about this place and decided to try their mouth watering BBQ brisket. Ordered 1lb of brisket and it is one of the driest meat I have ... ever eaten in my life. Just look at the pictures attached, it even broke the wooden knife while slicing the best advertised brisket in town. The chef behind the counter ought to be ashamed of yourself for giving your customer dry cuts of meat just because they ordered takeout and will only see it after bring home. Love the service though.
