Had a special brunch at Ricky's in Coquitlam with my sister and father for Father's Day. The service was unbelievably accommodating and friendly. There were two different meals that I wanted and couldn't decide between so the server found a way to make them into one meal so that I could ... have both! The picture shows the Cheese Baked Eggs with Chicken and Waffles. It was delicious and I was so satisfied. Our server was great to deal with and very timely. Waited over 1 1/2 hours for eggs Benny. Wanted soft poach, came hard, ordered cube hashbrowns came shredded. Ordered sausages, never came .We saw two couples sitting beside us get served before us. I called the owner over, his response was "what do you want me to do, we ... are busy" They charged me full price for the breakfast, will never eat or recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is not the first time this happened here. The first time the eggs came hard poached. They charged me full price after waiting an hour to get the eggs done properly. Place is really clean and up to date with covid protocols . Service is good food is great and the beers are cold . I had the mushroom burger which was very tasty . Will deft go back next time I'm in the area.

We tried the all you can eat cod here some time ago, and it was okay, but nothing spectacular. Then we tried breakfast last weekend, and it was simple, but perfect. Pancakes were tasty, eggs cooked nicely, and the orange juice was really good too. Stuffed hash browns were all right, ... don't know if I'd order them again though. Not the best .... The Bellini I ordered looked promising ( see pic ) but it wasn't smooth and creamy the way I like it. It had chunky ice throughout, and I had to pour a mimosa over the last 1/3 if it, as all the flavour had been sucked out. Our ... waiter seemed extremely nervous. Maybe he was new ? He spilt my drink twice, and despite us telling him we were going to have our drinks, then order as we weren't in a rush, he came back to the table a number of times before we even looked at the menu. We decided to split the pesto prawn pasta with a chicken breast add on. It wasn't great. The flavour was not to my liking, the prawns seemed overtly fishy and the chicken coating was weird.
