A wide variety of enticing goodies. I would have bought more, but a single cherry pastry was $6. It was delicious, though. It is a tiny corridor between the wall and the display, so some people had to wait outside until others left.

I first visited Rustic Bakery through the TooGoodToGo app. I picked up a big bag of bread and it was so soft and delicious— too delicious😃 and now I’m eating so much bread! It just takes my sandwiches, etc to the next level. This morning a friend ... and I walked by and tried two of their desserts which were also so good— not too sweet either. DIVINE apple pie. Really nice hole-in-wall bakery with great service. The pastries are fresh and delicious

I was dying for a coffee and saw their “open” sign. Unfortunately, they stopped serving coffee but they were kind enough to direct me to the nearest cafe. I returned after for the bread which was so fragrant. They make Yugoslavian bread and claimed they make their cheese fresh too. I ... got a cheese roll and apple roll to go and my regret is not getting more!! The bread is soft and substantial inside (it doesnt collapse when you bite it) and crunchy on the outside. Too Good To Go is a phone app that allows people to buy unsold food at affordable prices, and in so doing helps prevent that food from going to waste. My first time using this app I purchased a Surprise Bag from a bakery in Burnaby called Rustic Bread. For $5.99 I ... was given a bag filled with all sorts of wonderful breads that we'd never tried before. There was one in particular that gave off a wonderful aroma. We don't know what was in it. Onion powder? Garlic powder? Whatever it was, it smelled and tasted awesome! This was a great way to be introduced to this bakery, and now that I've tried some of their wonderful bread, I would definitely consider going back to Rustic Bread Bakery to try some of their other foods at regular price.
