I'd driven past Nana's Bakery many times and heard good things about it so when I saw it on the Too Good To Go app, I decided to give them a try. The bag was filled mostly with savoury goods in it but we did get one baked good that ... seemed to be more of a dessert. When I picked it up, I inquired about whether there was any meat in any of the foods. The lady was kind enough to switch some of the foods for me so that it was all Vegetarian food in the bag. To be honest, we weren't crazy about every single item in our bag. For the price we paid though, I think it was still very good value and we did find at least two items in the bag that we very much enjoyed. So would I go back to Nana's Bakery? Absolutely! There was some kind of savoury pastry that had a potato filling in it. Loved that. Also, there was some kind of spiral pastry with cheese in it. Loved that as well. I was very happy that the lady was willing to switch the foods for me so that it was Vegetarian, so…top marks for customer service! Read more
This family owned Balkan stile Bakery offers amazing food that reminds me of home. Everything in bakery is daily freshly made. They have so many different stuffed pastry (pita-burek) They also have home made meals (gulaš, stuffed papers, ćufte, sarma, pasulj...) along with grilled meat (ćevapi, kobasice aka sudzukice i ... pljeskavice) You can also get raw ćevape, or raw pljeskavie that you can grill it at home. Home made Baklava is one of the best I ever had. They also made Urmasice, Krempita (vanilla custard) mixed cookies for your sweet tooth. Don't forget to check their grocery department while you are there. Everything is super affordable. You can find so much more than you can even imagine in a Bakery, grocery store. Also they have a Turkish coffee, pickled vegetables, chocolates, spices, caned fish. Plazma, vegeta, medeno srce, bananice all imported from Europe. Looking forward coming back. Read more
I recently ordered takeout from Nana Bakery and was disappointed to discover that the food was reheated leftovers. The lack of freshness and flavor was evident, leaving me with a subpar dining experience. I urge others to be cautious when considering Nana Bakery for takeout, as the quality of the ... food did not meet expectations. Read more
A very unique experience for my family trying the eastern European bakery for the first time and they love it. Both savory and sweet are filling and cheap. My brother loves the apple pie so much that he said it is the best apple pie he ever had. This place ... also has grocery that is fun to check out as well. We bought turkish coffee from there as well. Read more
First time visiting, we ordered the Chevapi and a chicken pita, also picked up some pistachio croissants and a small cheese cake dessert for my wife Taste 1/1* Chevapi was great, perfectly seasoned sausages wrapped in between a fluffy pan toasted bread with loads of onions, the side sauces were a great ... addition Pita was crispy and flavourful Value 1/1* Good value for both cooked food and groceries, just from the 30min we’ve spend sitting outside enjoying our food, there’s been non stop customers, which to us speaks volumes Service 0.5/1* Nothing spectacular Cleanliness 1/1* Looked very organized Overall/Revisit 0.5/1* Would revisit if in the area Paying for ambience? 0/-1* NO Above and beyond? 0/+1* NO Read more
