I have always heard great things about Sushi Garden's fresh fish, and recently I had the opportunity to try it. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and easily digestible their food was. I ordered a variety of dishes including the Alaska roll sushi, sashimi, miso soup, ... edamame, and nigiri sushi. I know, it's quite a lot, but I highly recommend trying all of them when you visit. However, one aspect that I wasn't pleased with was the service provided by the staff. It seems like they may not have been well trained, as I had to repeat myself several times to get what I needed. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but the sushi was bad and now I don't feel very well. The staff weren't very friendly either. There are so many other great places in the area. I'm disappointed that this one wasn't up to the standard.

If you're a salmon lover and looking for affordable eats, this sushi restaurant fits the bill. In the Metro Vancouver Area, there are numerous B-grade gourmet sushi spots, making it hard to choose. Personally, I love cheaper, orange-colored salmon over the pricier sockeye salmon. Good food with affordable prices. We ordered sushi combo, kids menu, and pork katsu. I do love the fresh sashim! We paid the bill by cash. However, we had a bad experience from the cashier about the tipping issues.
